Associates are women and men who experience a call to share the mission and vision of the Sisters of the Cross and Passion. They are people who desire a personal relationship with God within the context of the Passionist spirit.
Associates are non-vowed members of the Passionist Community, continuing to live out their own life-styles while contributing their time, giftedness and talents to the Community as their circumstances allow. There are no financial or legal obligations.
Those who wish to become an Associate participate in a formation program which includes orientation, a study of our Passionist history, charism and spirituality, and a period of discernment. Upon completion of this program, Associates make a commitment to the Passionist Community through a formal covenant. This covenant (which is renewed annually) is an agreement by the Associates to commit themselves to expressing the Passionist mission and spirituality in a significant way in their lives, particularly through prayer, community gatherings and ministry.
Association offers opportunities for personal and spiritual growth, personal relationships with the Sisters and other Associates, participation in retreats, prayer experiences and celebrations, and workshops on local and national levels.
