Catholic College of Mandeville, Jamaica, West Indies:  

Founded by Sister Una O'Connor, CP, this higher education facility gives the opportunity for Bachelor and Master level diplomas to students who wish to teach the children of Jamaica.  The affordability of this college is a major factor in its expanding enrollment, especially for women.  Too many Jamaican elementary and secondary schools are staffed by under-educated teachers, leaving the students without quality education vital to advancement. A gift to this ministry would provide for educational materials for teachers and students and scholarships to potential enrollees.

Our Lady of Calvary Retreat Center, Farmington, CT: 

Celebrating its fiftieth anniversary this year, the Retreat Center opens its doors primarily to women of all cultures and denominations.  Owned and operated by the Sisters of the Cross and Passion, the Center provides opportunities for spiritual renewal, sacramental nourishment and compassionate presence to those burdened by life's hurts. Gifts to this ministry would benefit our scholarship fund which facilitates retreatants with limited financial resources to benefit from our programs.

Our Province Ministry Grant Program: 

Each year, the sisters in individual and corporate ministries apply for moneies from the Province to benefit the people they serve.  Some grants assist families who are in need of tuition assistance to keep their youngsters in Catholic Schools; some goes to assist critically ill patients with life comforting music, artwork, printed materials and personal items not immediately available to them in the hospital; other funds are made available to supply  new books to poor children who attend a free clinic and are read to while siblings are being seen by the doctor. Many other programs are supplemented as long as funds are available... your donation would grow this funding source.
